Because our leases end on July 31st and move in day is just a couple of weeks after that, we have a limited amount of time to get all of the apartments ready! Therefore, we have a very limited number of early move-ins that we are able approve. Early move in?s are on a case-by-case basis and are only considered for those students who are required by UNC to report to campus early (i.e. orientation, practice, etc). Those students wishing to apply for an early move in must submit their request in writing (at the time of application) to the Arlington Park Leasing Manager along with a letter on UNC letterhead stating why they need to move in early. The request is not a guarantee that an early move-in will be approved as we have very limited availability. Early move-ins are granted on a first come, first served basis. The charge to move in early, if it is approved, is $35 a day and is due when your first rental installment is due per the lease, which is July 15, 2012.

The service fee will temporarily hold an apartment for you for 1-2 weeks to give you time to turn the lease back into the office. You are not guaranteed an apartment until the lease is turned back into us.
